Evgeniya Novakova

Research Assistant

Evgeniya works in a support capacity at Shift on a variety of projects, using both quantitative and qualitative methods. She is currently involved with desk research, interviewing and coding for clients including the University of East London, Harper Collins and the Association of Anaesthetists.

Prior to Shift Insight, Evgeniya completed a BSc in Psychology at the University of Surrey, which included doing a placement year as a research assistant at King’s College London. During the placement year, Evgeniya worked on research projects that aimed to improve the well-being of people with chronic health conditions. Evgeniya’s final year project aimed to explore vicarious fear learning through a virtual avatar in a VR environment, which involved using both quantitative and qualitative methods. Subsequently, she worked as a mental health assistant at a SEN school.
