Helene joined Shift in 2004 and became co-director in 2008. She has helped to transform Shift into a leading research agency within education and sustainability – two areas close to her heart.

A highly experienced, commercially minded strategist and consultant, she leads multi-method large scale research projects with complex audiences throughout the world, and excels at delivering actionable research to clients in a variety of different sectors.

Her clients include LEGO, LEGO Education, SpringerNature, Guardian, BBC, The Key, BMJ, Elsevier, Pearson, University of Southampton, UAL, UWE and Cambridge Assessment – to name a few.

Helene facilitates and runs workshops with senior leadership to build engagement and embed findings within organisations. She delivers insight and recommendations that inform important decisions, determine marketing strategies and help shape new products.

Prior to Shift, she obtained a distinction from the University of Kingston for her MSc in Informatics with Management. Working on many significant projects within learning, healthcare and environmental sustainability has given her strong sector knowledge in these areas.

Helene is a full member of the Market Research Society, as well as a sought-after and assured public speaker who regularly presents at board level and as part of leading conferences in the sector.
