Jenny’s role as Associate Director involves working in close collaboration with clients to create research projects that answer questions around new product feasibility and programme concepts, stakeholder motivations, and market sizing and competitor activity. Adept at managing multi-modal research projects, she has extensive experience analysing both qualitative and quantitative data sets, and delivering practical, evidence-based outcomes to clients.
Jenny’s public sector and public-facing work has included leading education projects for The British Council, Jisc, ACAS and London Councils, and a sustainability project as part of the London Recycles campaign for the London Waste and Recycling Board (LWARB) using behavioural change research techniques to understand what motivates young Londoners to recycle. These projects have involved strong post-project dissemination of the findings to internal stakeholders and to wider audiences, such as speaking at local education authority events in relation to the project for London Councils, and presenting findings as part of a panel discussion for London Recycles during Circular Economy Week 2020.
Before joining Shift Insight, Jenny worked independently as a consultant for a variety of educational publishers on long-term projects involving market research, list management and the commissioning and development of print and electronic products. Jenny specialises in the vocational, professional and HE sectors and her clients included Cengage Learning, Hodder Education and Oxford University Press.
Jenny is a certified member of the Market Research Society. She completed the Advanced Certificate in Market and Social Research in 2014.
