Rhona is a master’s graduate from Queen Mary University of London, where she studied Linguistics and graduated with Distinction. She specialised in Sociolinguistics, the study of language and society, focusing on language and gender. During this degree she worked with both quantitative and qualitative research methods, and developed an interest in social and market research, particularly within the education sector. She has also worked in telecommunications, and uses these skills in her recruitment, interviewing and administrative work with Shift.
At Shift, she works in a supportive capacity on both qualitative and quantitative projects for clients including Oxford University Press, LEGO and the Association for Project Management.
